Nigel Aggett
1923 Originally a Hooper Tourer later re-built. GF54
There is limited information about the car's history as it spent some time in America (believed Texas). The car was at some time shipped back to the UK by its owner for his use when in the UK. The original tourer body built by Hooper was Maroon and Black but at some time the body was re-built to a very high standard and painted blue. When Nigel bought the car he was told that the engine had been re-built by Brunt's of Silverdale but unfortunately there is no documentation to support that, possibly due to the owner living in the States and having died some years ago. A friend of the owner sold the car in the UK. In July 2024 Nigel bought GF54 from Ghost Motors, for over 30 years he has owned other Vintage cars and indeed still does, always convertibles. Nigel would dearly love to have more information about the car especially from previous owners.
