Les Gammon

A very early 20hp car, it has a radius on the front edge of the radiator and what is called "tin radiator shutters". Les Gammon the owner has been working to an annual service schedule plus an improvement agenda. Last winter 2018/19 saw the car re-wired but using the original conduits to retain originality on such an early car proved to be very hard work and took some time. However seeing the old cable when it was removed clearly showed how essential this was, just as reported elsewhere under Resources and Articles. This last year after much research Les managed to purchase the original pattern grained leather to replace the folding top that was last replaced in the 1950's. It's a nice car to drive but quite heavy, so snappy acceleration is not an option.
