Dharmachari Padmakumara
1927. Originally a Park Ward 3/4 DH Coupe with a slight V screen, now with a station wagon body. GMJ 33
Dharmachari Padmakumara has inherited GMJ33 from his step-father, Michael Carr who used to be a member of the RREC; Michael’s father TEF Carr owned the car in the 1950s. GMJ33 started as a Park Ward ¾ dh coupe with a “slight V- screen”, coming off test 14.12.26. It now sports a station wagon body. The dashboard is all that remains of the original interior; this is possibly connected with its use during WW2. The car currently resides in a private museum in Lancashire.
