David O'Connor

1929 Originally a Hooper Landaulette re-bodied as a Windovers 3 position Cabriolet GEN18

1928 Brainsby Limousine GWL8

The chassis was ordered by March Motor Co for Mr Frederick George Abiss to be fitted with limousine coachwork by Brainsby of Peterborough. Mr Abiss owned the car until his death in 1948. Bought back by the March Motor Co and kept for private hire until the chauffer died in 1952 with just 28k miles and tyres worn to the canvas. Badly re-sprayed for weddings in the 1970's but otherwise unused until purchase by David in 1995. Now with 41k miles and practically no mechanical work since new.
