84K9 was sold by Real Car Co in 1998 in a dismantled state. It was once owned by Brendan Boyle but since 2006 it was owned by Steve Plimmer from whom David Metcalfe and his father Kevin purchased it. As can be seen from the photos it is now being restored by David and Kevin.
